Two new projects

Here are two new projects I've started recently.  The first is a little lap quilt for my Mum in law whose not been very well recently.  I needed to get it made up quickly so the disappearing nine patch block was just perfect.  I saw it on you tube and thought it was great.  Quick and fun to do too.

My second new start was supposed to be a long term project but I just can't leave it alone.  I'm making Bumble Bee blocks in Batiks.  I love Batiks and have been saving them up, even buying a few scrap bags as this is a good way to get a big selection of different patterns without spending a fortune.   I keep coming back to this.  I just love the colours - its going to be a real scrappy wall hanging.

Lovely quilt for your MIL! I should try that disappearing 9-patch too one day. The result is always stunning!
