I switched from hand to machine applique using a blanket stitch in black around the hearts.
Quilted hearts and feathers... in opposite corners.

Very happy with the quilting on this one.
Just off the frame.
I finished it off by rounding the corners and dark red binding.
It measures 56" x 62" and I used Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 wadding.

Beautifully done! I quilt on the sewing machine, it must make such a difference to be able to use a frame...maybe one day I'll get one...great work, you really made a super job.
