Grand Illusion Parts 3, 4, 5 and the Reveal

I failed to get my parts of Bonnie's mystery quilt posted to the linky party lately.
So here are parts 3, 4 ,5 and the reveal all in one post.

                                                  Everything measuring up nicely.

                                                                               Part 3
                                                                         Part 4

Part 5

I am doing a 3 x 4 layout which means I will have to add an extra border to make the pieced outer border fit.

This is as far as I have progressed but it will be finished and loaded onto my frame ready for quilting by the weekend.    As for how I am going to quilt it -  I'm undecided.  Fancy quilting is hardly going to show as the pattern is too busy so I am thinking of an all over design.  My extra border will give me the chance to sneak in some feathers I hope.
I will be keeping this quilt for myself as I have done with the last 3 mysteries.  Love Bonnie's quilts.
Why not head over to the linky party and see all the Grand Illusions.  There are some brilliant colour variations going on.  I've enjoyed looking at them all.
Now, back to the borders.............
See you next time.

Rhianon, your top is beautiful. I am also making this size and would like to make those pieced borders fit. Have you figured out what size border to add to your yellow border that will make this work out? I am stumped.

Hey, way to go~! I like the way your colors have played out in the mirage. (To me, this mystery looks like a shimmering field of stars in motion.) I have my 1,2, and 5 finished, and should finish 3 and 4 tomorrow morning.
