I machine quilted it on my domestic (only) sewing machine.
I worked a large swirly pattern in the center.
Some stippling in the green stripey narrow border......
...........and finally some little feathers on the outer border. I used plain black for the binding.
I love how it turned out and now I'm looking forward to having it on my bed this coming winter. Should be very cosy!!
It's been a while but today I'm linking up with Missy Mac Creations where Erin is hosting this weeks TGIFF linky party and Sarah's blog Confessions of a Fabric Addict, so head on over and check out the finishes!
Be back soon with more quilty stuff.
Enjoy your weekend.
Rhianon.

I love your colour choices. Some of them turned out way to "busy" for my taste. Although I followed this Challenge....I didn't get brave enough to try making one of these!
Love yours though!! :)
This is an awesome quilt. The balance of color, design and quilting is perfection.
Have a great day.
Always, Queenie
Beautiful work Rhianon!! I really love all the feathering in the borders and the colors you choose! How funny that we both finally finished up our Orca Bay quilts this month!!!
This one turned out fabulous! Great colors and quilting as always.
Beautiful! I made one, too, but I didn't quilt it myself. I'm impressed that you were able to on a domestic machine. Wow! It is one heavy, heavy quilt. I love your color scheme, too.
This is so beautiful. I really love the colors you selected. Awesome job!
Great finish. I need to get back to mine and have my mom's I need to quilt. So good to see another on is finished. Great job
That's an absolutely gorgeous quilt!
What a beautiful quilt! Curling up under that this winter would be wonderful. Great job. I love the quilting!
It came out so beautiful!. I am still working on mine. I am piecing the rows now. I took one row and measured it against the width of the bed. I am going to have to add a lot of borders to make it hang long enough. I don't want to make any more blocks!!!! LOL!
I love your ideas with the green pieced border. I may run with that only wider to get some length. It really makes your green pop!!
Your Orca Bay is beautiful!!!
On your domestic machine?! Wow! It's incredible!!
Oh my! Your Orca Bay quilt is just gorgeous. Fabulous quilting...my top is done still not quitled :(
