Geisha Panel

This is a printed panel I finished quilting recently. It is called Tea House by Benartex.
I saw it online and thought it would make a nice gift for my brother's birthday. He likes all things oriental.

I used one layer of Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 and quilted it on my Q'nique.

Turned out pretty nice and my brother loved it.
Happy Days!

Pretty nice?? Lol...it is fabulous! You are a true artist with your quilting, Rhianon. Are you aware of any families named weary, watt , or McCann near you? My Mom passed in Nov. and I have been in contact with a few cousins since through Facebook. She was from Glasgow then, but forget right now where they are.

I have never been tempted to quilt a panel until I saw your post. Your quilting is incredible and the panel came alive. Beautiful work!

Hi Rhiannon
Just found your blog through Tamarack Shack's blog (I go there every couple of days to drool!)
Your work is incredible and all on a domestic sewing machine - incredible

That is just beautiful and you've given me some great ideas for quilting the Asian pieces that I have.
