Floral Hearts Lap Quilt

This is my floral hearts quilt.  I started to hand applique these hears quite a long time ago and when I found them in a bag, decided to do make a quilt.
I switched from hand to machine applique using a blanket stitch in black around the hearts.

Sashings and cornerstones added.

Cream border with lots of space for quilting......

.... jazzed up a bit with more appliqued hearts.

Then onto the frame for quilting.

Quilted hearts and feathers... in opposite corners.

View of my machine on the frame....

Very happy with the quilting on this one.

Just off the frame.

I finished it off by rounding the corners and dark red binding.
It measures 56" x 62" and I used Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 wadding.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.
Have a great weekend.
Rhianon.
