I switched from hand to machine applique using a blanket stitch in black around the hearts.
Quilted hearts and feathers... in opposite corners.

Very happy with the quilting on this one.
Just off the frame.
I finished it off by rounding the corners and dark red binding.
It measures 56" x 62" and I used Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 wadding.

Oh, my word. :D Rhianon, your work is always stunning. I really love the hearts combined with the feathers like that, and the fill around the borders looks terrific with the whole blend. Such a nice quilt now!
