Gecko Quilt

This is my gecko quilt.
It measures 68" x 86"
I used one layer of Hobbs heirloom 80/20 and it was free motion quilted on my Janome 1600p on the table top.  The flowers were hand painted after quilting :)

  8. Your quilt is stunning. Thank you so much for the close-up photos. Fascinating. Do you mark everything before you quilt or is it all free motion? I'd LOVE to take a class with you. Thanks so much for sharing.

  14. Rhianon once again I am in awe of your work, just stunning, I do so hope you are entering this into some show, it is surely a winner. Many thanks for sharing. The pattern in centre reminds me I have to do that with some fabrics I bought last year from my friend Maggi, they are hand dyed and drop dead gorgeous, just like your quilt - I hope I can do them justice after seeing yours.
