Dragonfly wall hanging

My friend Miriam in Virginia, USA sent me some gorgeous fabric that inspired me to start this wall hanging.  I picked the design from the fabric as the center piece and it will have the dragonfly fabric as a wide -ish border.  I made big 3D flowers which I am thinking of puting round the edge.  I'm not sure yet though - might not look good.  I will just have to see what direction it takes me as I progress.

  I am aiming to have a lot of hand embroidery on the applique and the dragonfly is barely started but is a long term project.
