Progress with Roll, Roll cotton Boll.

Due to quilt group being cancelled yesterday because of the snow (again), I was able to make some good progress with this monster of a quilt.  I say monster because of it's size.  It's huge and it still has 2 borders to go on.  I'll be working on them later.

Congratulations on how far you have come with this! I haven't put one square together yet as I didn't think I liked it when I saw the final block but I keep seeing the quilt completed and it is beautiful.

Thanks Connie. I really enjoyed making this quilt and I'd never done a mystery quilt before either. I've still got to quilt it yet - that will be a marathon!

It looks wonderful! You should feel very proud. There is a lot of hard work in there.
I have to say that by the time I got to the borders. I was so ready to be done with the piecing.

Thnak you Charity. It was my very first mystery quilt and i loved it.
I usually hand quilt my work but this quilt is just so huge. I'm not very good at machine quilting but I may give it a go, although I wouldn't want to ruin all that hard work with crappy quilting!!
